And here it's not rare to call your son, Viggo. It is an old viking name. A female tv-hostess here has a little son named Viggo. It may not be the most used name here but some boys/men have that name. And I like the name very much.

I've just heard a man who was interview in the radio news and guess what he was called!!?? Hans Viggo Mortensen!! I just can't stop laughing!!

About given a child the name Viggo, it's a good idea. I think the good, old names are comming back. If it's a girl you can always call her Vigga. Here in Denmark we have an elderly actress called Vigga Bro. Her father was called Viggo but he died before she was born so the mother told her self that if she got a boy she would name him after his father. But she got a little girl and decided to call her Vigga. That's a very nice name too. But it's more rare than the name Viggo is.
