Ok it's long overdue that we need to start up a new story thread. Jen, I'm counting on you to help out here. The idea of the game is each of us is to add a sentence. So I'll start:

Once upon a time an ugly old toad lived in a forgotten, rundown garden.

But when the old toad saw the young girl he just muttered grumpily to himself and went back into his house and closed the door.
