Learning that someone close to us will soon die feels like an insult to the psyche; to the soul. Transforming moment to moment …becoming them; then back to us. How much longer will they breathe? With us? How much, how long will they suffer? Will they try to hold us at arms’ length in some of their darkest moments or will they reach out to us for love, consoling and strength. Can we be what they need us to be? What will the world be like without them? What will my life be like without them? What have they brought to my life so far? Am I grieving already? Will they know this? Are they grieving too? How many more questions…

Antonio is a lucky man to mean so much to someone, that they would consider all these things.

It matters not how long or how short our life is, only what we do with it while we are here........the lives we touch.

Immortality is living in the hearts of those who love us, whether we are alive or dead. For what more can we dream?

Someone has touched my life, and I wish them a happy birthday today. Although we are physically at a distance, they are not even a heartbeat away.

Relationships and bonds often come in strange ways, and with many faces. You never know when or where you may meet someone, or how they will touch your life.

Many people have touched my life and left an indelible footprint on my heart. I am lucky for having each of them come into my life for however long or short a time it may be.

Antonio sounds like such a person in your life. Someone very special.....
