The Road

Thought it was time we start a thread in the movies section for The Road as filming will soon begin and there is more and more news on the adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's book into a film.

Not sure how reliable this information is but 411mania.com - Movies - The Big Screen Bulletin is predicting that the movie The Road will now be released in late 2008 rather than 2009.

Release Date Changes

• It is no shock that the Cormac McCarthy adaptation is being nudged back for Oscar release in 2008 now that No Country for Old Men is collecting all the awards and Viggo has a nomination.
  

Oh so the filming is beginning soon?
I gotta read the book before I see the movie.
But after everything I heard and know about the book I am lookig forward to seeing the movie.
