Heath Ledger Dies at 28

Not to put a damper on the wonderful news of Viggo, but I think this should be mentioned.

It would seem the reports that the young Australian actor was found dead in New York is true. How tragic for loss of such a young life and that the acting community has lost such a wonderful talent. The cause of his death has not been determined.

Some of his movies: The Patriot, Brokeback Mountain, Ned Kelly (with Orlando Bloom), Casanova, Monster's Ball, The Brothers Grimm, A Knights Tale to name a few.

We will miss you, Heath.

Yeah,I heard about his death this morning.
It was so sad,the losing of a life at 28.
As far as I know,he commited a suicide.They foound his naked body on the floor and he had sleeping pills around him.The housekeeper found and try to give him some life,but it was too late.
An Autopsy will be made today...

To me this young man -- it was like watching him grow up on screen. To think of all the movies he left. To wonder in sadness and only imagine what could have been.

I hope it is not suicide. At 28, to think one's life is over -- with so much to live and discover -- his life was just beginning. I really grieve for his family.

The last news say that it was an accident.
Some of his friends said he had problems and maybe he overdosed his pills in a moment of carelessness...
The first autopsy that was made today can say nothing about the death yet,so in few days they will have the results of another one autopsy.Maybe then we gonna have an information about what has happened actually...

It is sad to lose anyone, but even more so when they are young. It is a tragedy for his family, and the acting community, as well as for his countless fans. It will be difficult for his young daughter to grow up without her Daddy. So much talent lost, way too young.

The news that Heath Ledger died of an accidental use of prescriptions is just so tragic. Poor pet. He had so much life yet to live, so much to offer the world.

Anyone who met Heath Ledger couldn't help getting the impression the actor basically was both a gentle soul and a very sensitive guy.

Now I've learned the Australian native expressed that sensitivity by writing poetry and even a few song lyrics.

A longtime Ledger associate told me Thursday, ''Heath wrote some really amazing poems ... as good as any I've read.'' According to this insider, the actor penned verse ranging from ''very funny, often naughty doggerel,'' usually to mark a pal's birthday or some other kind of special occasion, to ''very deep, insightful pieces that showed how much he had going on inside.''

Wow I was just browsing the web and came across some old pictures of Andy Gibb. Does anyone notice the resemblance to Heath Ledger? Not only in looks but the fact that they both died around the same age and both from Australia?

I loved the brothers Gibb for years. Andy's loss was such a blow as was Heath's.
